Tea Time: Some thoughts on tea

English Tea ~ Photography by (c) Robin Dalton

Tea is drunk to forget the din of the world.  ~T'ien Yiheng

Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.  ~Thich Nat Hahn

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.  ~C.S. Lewis

Postcards from UAC Invitation

Stardreaming

I wanted to share my latest project with you, well, mini-project. I was asked by Donna Woodwell to help her with this and I jumped at the opportunity. If you are interested in astrology and have chance, come join us!

Greetings World of Astrologers!

UAC, the world’s largest gathering of astrologers, is being held in New Orleans from May 23 to 29.  We will miss every single one of you who cannot make it… which is why we’re going to do our best to bring the party to you!
In a divinely chaotic grassroots effort, we’re encouraging all tech-savvy UAC attendees to send your images and videos out to our astro friends around the world as “Postcards from UAC.”  We’ve organized a worldwide network of volunteers to collect your postcards and share them with the global community.

Here’s how: Just take your video or images snapped on your smart phones or other devices and email them to:

UACPostcards@gmail.com

Our fabulous volunteers will upload them to the UACPostcards feed, which can be viewed at:

Youtube: PostcardsfromUAC

Flickr: PostcardsfromUAC

Twitter: @UACPostcards

Facebook Group: UAC Postcards

Or, if you are posting your own UAC-related content, you can use the twitter hashtags:

#UAC2012 #UACPostcards #UACPostcard

Please note: film or audio of UAC-sponsored lectures is not permitted. But everything else is fair game.

So, if you can’t make the conference, but still want to join in the conversation, feel free to join in the conversation at any of the feeds, or share videos and images with your friends.

On this day a year ago, The Wonderspouse and I were visiting Chalice Well Gardens in Glastonbury for a recharge. It seemed appropriate to share this photo with you.

Wishing you a joyful May!
